WINDHAM, NEW HAMPSHIRE

Windham NH is a suburban town in Rockingham County, situated in southeastern New Hampshire and just 3 miles north of the Massachusetts border. 

 

Once home to the Pawtucket Native Americans, Windham was part of an area known as “Nutfield” and included the land which makes up both Derry and Londonderry today. 

There is always something to do in and around Windham. Activities and attractions include municipal parks, golf courses, tennis courts, bowling facilities, fishing, hunting, boating, snowmobile trails, bike trails, and waterfront access.

The Windham Country Club golf course is an 18-hole premier course voted four stars by Golf DigestGriffin Park, built in 2005, offers three baseball fields, a soccer field, tennis and basketball courts, and a playground. 

 

Experience summers at Windham's waterfronts. Windham’s Town Beach, only 10 minutes away from Del Ray Place, has open boat launch available to Windham residents. Enjoy walking, hiking or biking at The Windham Rail Trail, which extends approximately 4.1 miles from Windham into Derry. Del Ray Place is also located only 20 minutes away from Canobie Lake Park!

Windham has plenty of shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Locals love The Windham, Common Man, Zachary's Chop House, Kumo Sushi and Mary Ann's Diner. In need of a quick bite and a coffee? Windham has Dunkin Donuts, Klemm's Bakery and The Village Bean.
